Is boxing a good sport?
It is a nice sport that makes you burn a bunch of calories. All parts of your body is going to be worked out. The only problem is you may get injured when you are in an actual boxing match. You better think twice about doing that since there is a good chance you are going to get hurt. There is a reason why people train hard before getting involved in actual boxing matches. It is no secret your opponent did the same so you must train real hard and keep yourself in great shape if you want to have a chance of winning. The training is pretty good and you are going to burn a lot of calories along the way. Yes, you’re going to be in pretty good shape and nobody will even know how you are doing it.

What are the basic rules of boxing?
The most important rule is to only use both of your hands. Yes, that means no kicking and headbutting. Also, remember to not hit your opponent below the belt. When you are in an actual boxing fight, you’re going to deal with punching your opponent at the body and the face. The best way to do it would be to target the jaw. There is a reason why that is the part of your body that you must protect. One hit there and you are going to be knocked out no matter how good your record is. They also require to wear boxing gloves and shoes at all times.

What is the point of boxing?
The objecting of boxing is to knock your opponent out so hard that he won’t be able to make it to the ten counts. Another way of winning the match is if the three judges rule the match in your favour. They would do that if you land more punches than your opponent. There will always be two coaches on opposing rounds and they will try and teach you what you can do to win. Boxing is also about outsmarting your opponent. You would want to check out what your opponent is doing so you can properly counter him. There are some boxers who like to taunt their opponent. This is usually not a good idea as it will make your opponent even madder. However, if you are confident with your abilities then you can do whatever you please.

When did boxing become a sport?
Believe it or not, this is one of the oldest sports known to mankind as the earliest boxing matches happened way back in 3000 BC. It did not become a legal sport until the 17th century though as it was brought to the Olympics. Now, it is pretty popular all over the world. In fact, the pay for popular boxes is pretty high. A lot of people would want to see two people fight each other for the chance to be called the winner of the match.
